Justin Timberlake breaks silence during Chicago concert

Despite his legal troubles, Timberlake has no intention of calling off his "Forget Tomorrow World Tour," which is now underway.

Three days after being detained for allegedly operating a vehicle while inebriated in Sag Harbor, New York, Justin Timberlake made a surprise appearance on the Chicago stage on Friday night. The pop icon is now traveling the world as part of his "Forget Tomorrow World Tour." Introducing the event to the audience, the 43-year-old said, "It's been a tough week."

In videos uploaded to X, the Trolls star stated, "We've been together through ups and downs, lefts and rights... but you're here and I'm here, and nothing can change this moment right now." Cheers broke out from the throng.

"I know sometimes I'm hard to love, but you keep on loving me and I love you right back," he said. "Thank you so much!"

Apparently Unhappy, Jessica Biel Is Supporting The Singer

It appears that the singer's wife of over a decade is "not happy" with her spouse and the "distraction" he has caused their family. (Their two boys, Phineas, 4, and Silas, 9, are shared.)

She needed to shoot yesterday. She dislikes any attention, even positive, focused on the family, a source close to the family tells People. But the actress, who's now in New York City filming The Better Sister, "will always be by his side."

On June 18, Timberlake was charged and then freed on his own recognizance. It's not apparent if the two have crossed paths.

"He's a fantastic husband and father," the source continues.

Biel, according to The Daily Mail, is "embarrassed" and "extremely upset."

Yahoo Entertainment reached out to Biel's representative for comment, but they did not answer.

Justin Timberlake emotionally thanks fans for support after DWI arrest

Lawyer Edward Burke Jr. said he looks "forward to vigorously defending" the pop artist in a statement on Wednesday.

When the moment is right, he will speak a lot. He's waiting for the DA's office to provide him with all the information," Burke told TMZ.

On June 18, the singer of "Cry Me a River" was arraigned. He informed an arresting officer, according to the criminal complaint, that he had only had "one martini" and that he was accompanying companions from the American Hotel in Sag Harbor, New York, home.

Timberlake Won't Seek Therapy And Will Carry On With His Tour: Reports

The singer will reportedly prioritize his global tour before going to rehab, which is a common celebrity approach in DWI or driving under the influence cases, according to TMZ. (Yahoo has not received a response from Timberlake's representative.) Additionally, according to Page Six, he was clearly "pressing forward" with the tour on Friday night.

"People who've spent years around the singer tell us they've never known him to have a problem, and he's typically in control while out in public," according to TMZ.

Aside from when he has brought it up himself, Timberlake has never been arrested and his drinking has never really made news. The singer publicly apologized to Biel in 2019 after seeing him holding hands with a co-star. "A few of weeks ago, I made a serious mistake in judgment, but to be clear, there was no issue between my co-star and myself. That night, I drank far too much, and I regret it. I ought to have been more aware.

Justin Timberlake gives heartfelt speech in first concert after DWI arrest | The Independent

It was over a week before the artist addressed the matter directly.

PR specialist advises Timberlake to confront the arrest directly.

Yahoo is informed by Eric Schiffer that "Justin can't dance this one away."

Reputation Management Consultants chairman Schiffer says, "He needs to own up and take responsibility, and he can do this via the right one-on-one interview." Schiffer is situated in Los Angeles.

Maybe Gayle King, who openly supported the artist on CBS Mornings, can help with that. "Justin Timberlake is a really, really great guy," she said. "He's not an irresponsible person, he's not reckless, he's not careless."

The DWI, according to Schiffer, "hurts" Timberlake's "brand trust and likability."

"It results in a loss of respect from fans and the public, and creates a big chill with brands for future collaborations," according to him.
