The Met Gala, moreover known as the Costume Institute Benefit or the Met Ball, is a soft-heartedness event held at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City each spring and unchangingly makes for one of the most heady celebrity-fashion events of the year.
The theme, Karl Lagerfeld: A Line of Beauty, honors Karl. Attendees based their red-carpet looks virtually the dress lawmaking In Honor of Karl. Drawing from Lagerfelds seminal oeuvre, there are plenty of legendary pieces to pull from his numerous archives.
