Bella Ramsey & Maisy Stella Confirm Relationship

It would appear like Maisy Stella and Bella Ramsey have taken their relationship to the next level by posting a cute photo to their Instagram account.

On Wednesday, September 24, Stella, who is 20 years old, shared a heartfelt homage to Ramsey on the occasion of their 21st birthday. She did so by uploading photographs of the two of them together on her Instagram Stories.

"Beautiful beautiful beautiful happy birthday the coolest comfiest most wonderful human imaginable," Stella gushed over Ramsey, who identifies as non-binary and gender fluid, in the description of the photo. Ramsey is someone who is a wonderful human being.

After weeks of suspicion (read: loads of Instagram flirtation via each other’s comments), Bella Ramsey and Maisy Stella have seemingly confirmed their romance in a romantic Instagram Story.

In honor of The Last of Us star's 21st birthday on September 25, Stella shared an extremely romantic pic of them with their arms wrapped around each other. In the photo, Stella faces the camera with a broad smile while Ramsey nuzzles against her neck.

While we’re not certain when or how the two young stars met, it seems Ramsey’s first comment on Stella’s Instagram was in late January on a post about My Old Ass’s Sundance Film Festival premiere. Ramsey posted a prolific, “Oh yeaaah” with a wounded heart emoji; Stella’s first remark on Ramsey’s account appears to be on an August 5 teaser trailer for The Last of Us season 2, where she wrote “Oooooooooh my.” A match forged in heaven.

The My Old Ass actor wished Ramsey an official happy birthday in a second post, posting a photo of Ramsey with a red heart emoji and the superimposed caption, “lovely lovely beautiful happy birthday the coolest comfiest most wonderful human possible."

Stella and Ramsey were seen in one of the photographs wrapping their arms around one another, while the Game of Thrones star smiled broadly. While looking at the picture, it was possible to observe Stella planting a peck on Ramsey's face.

The other picture, which featured the birthday greetings, showed Ramsey looking at her phone with a great deal of attention while she engaged in the activity. As Stella shared the snapshot, she accompanied it with an emoji of a heart.

For some weeks, fans have been seeing comments on the actresses' respective social media accounts that appeared to be flirty, which has led to the spread of rumors that the two actresses are romantically involved with one another.

Ramsey has been commenting on Stella’s Instagram as long back as January. They wrote, “Oh yeaaah” and left a wounded heart emoji on Stella’s post about My Old Ass’s Sundance Film Festival premiere.

Last of Us' Bella Ramsey & Maisy Stella Seemingly Confirm Romance

When Stella later appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live! on September 18, Ramsey threw their support behind the actress, adding, “Oh, how you shiiiiiine.”

Meanwhile, Stella showed Ramsey just as much love via Instagram comments, writing “sweet” on a post Ramsey published to campaign for transgender rights as well as adding “Oooooooooh my” when the GoT star uploaded a trailer for season 2 of her program, The Last of Us.

Stella plays as a queer teen in the new coming-of-age picture, My Old Ass, which also features Aubrey Plaza.

During an interview that was conducted with The Advocate and uploaded on YouTube on Thursday, September 19, Stella discussed the specifics of her personal sexuality journey.

“Labels are tricky,” she told the site. “I was never pressured to put a label on myself and I was always what I am. I was always open, and I was always queer.”

For their part, Ramsey has also spoken publicly about their own sexuality as well as utilizing “they/them” pronouns in an interview with British Vogue in 2023.

“I had a lot of anxiety around pronouns. When The Last of Us originally came out, I was like, ‘Everyone just call me “she” since I seem like a “she” to you, so it’s fine.’” they said. “But now I’m able to vocalize it more, being called ‘they’ is the most truthful thing for me. That’s who I am the most.”

They added: “You never fully know who you are, it’s ever-evolving. But I absolutely think that many have concluded that I’m not 100 percent straight. I’m a little bit wavy, you know? That’s what I like to say.”
